So as 2021 draws to a close I have again chosen to see what I painted this year and perhaps think about what to do next year.

And this is what I finished in 2021, a fair amount of models from a range of game systems and scales, with a range of colour choices as well! I must say I’m happy with every model in this shot so that is something! I perhaps was hoping for more of some but hay that’s life and I’ll try not to beat myself up on it.

This year saw me add a further 2 squads and a hero to my Space Marines, one of my longest standing armies.

It also saw more GodTear, I have a feeling 2022 will see even more!

But it also saw me tackle my first 54mm model which was a great challenge. I enjoyed the scale but I’m was not as happy doing an historically correct model (or sn attempt) at one, as I found it very constraining.

But my favourite model this year had to be my Esher, and I going next year might really see my go for the rest of this gang.

I wish you all a happy new year and hope the hobby flows stronger still with us all next year!

I forgot the little lad also wanted to get in the hobby round up so here he is taking a picture of his hobby for the year!

      1. And a Happy New Year to you! ๐Ÿ™‚ The only reason we were still up at midnight was so that we could have the TV on to drown out the noise of the fireworks so that the dog didn’t get upset!

  2. Its been a pleasure following your hobby progress this year and while I enjoyed the Lumineth quite a bit, GodTear was a highlight too. I wasn’t even aware of the game and now I look forward to seeing each mini you paint for it ๐Ÿ™‚
